The CoD website is moving to

http://councilofdragons.guildlaunch.com

The motivation for the move is primarily to facilitate event scheduling, and to take advantage of some tools that are integrated with the armory and the guild vault.

If you are already a member of CoD, simply click "apply" in the membership section and use the launch code published in Guild Info.  Your characters are already there, waiting to be claimed by you (linked to the armory).

The forum structure has been repeated at the new site, but I will need your help in preserving the posts we would like to keep - particularly in the training section.

New guild site looks great. I seemed to be having a problem getting logged in to this site. First the website claimed that I was already a member but was using the wrong password. Then the website said that I was not a member of guildlaunch.com and needed to join so I joined; then gave me an error message that could not find guild; then could not find that I was a member with that password so I had them send a new password to me to reset it and that did not work either so I tried again. Same problem. I sent them a very detailed email about this problem and hope it might get fixed sometime soon. Could someone send me their email address so I can inform you all what raids I can attend if possible since I can't sign up for any raids at this time with our new website at guildlaunch.com. Thank you very much for setting up the new site! It looks great. I did figure out how to sign in. My problem was having a name already used by someone else on the guild site. I had to choose another - Langor. After that, I could log in, but my Lang character was not automatically claimed because my new forum name didn't exactly match. I then had to go into the list of members and claim my character.

I am a very lucky gnome this morning.  I was able to login to the new site with no problems.  It looks wonderful! Thanks so much for taking your time and money to create this for CoD.  I have copied over some posts from the Mage Training section into the new Mage Training Section of the new website.   If there is anything I have done you don't like, please let me know or just change it, whatever looks good to you is fine by me.

If you have other toons in other games (or in WoW) that are in guilds and you've become a member of their website on this server, you already have an account and just need to log in using your account name and password. You will still need to "claim" your affiliation with the Council by typing the code in the "launch code" block of the <Council of Dragons> site in order to become a member of the site for the Council.

Here's what I mean:  I have a hordie named Varissul who belongs to a guild called <sidestep> which as a site on the guildlaunch.com.  I already am a member of guildlaunch.com, therefore, I just needed to log in and then input my launch code on the CoD site to become a member of that site.  If you don't remember your log in information, it's just like any other membership, they'll email it to you (if you remember what email address you signed up with in the first place).

P.S.. I, too, was told there was not a site by this name, but you can search for the site using the "game > servers > guilds" listings.
